Jess Moskaluke wins the Canadian Country Music Award 2011 New Artist Showcase!

Toronto, ON – September 10, 2011- Saskatchewan’s own Jess Moskaluke (MDM Recordings Inc.) rocked the stage at the Chedoke Ballroom at the Hamilton Convention Center Friday September 9th, winning the 2011 Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA) New Artist Showcase. Wearing her signature stiletto’s and sporting her long dark rocker-chic hair, Moskaluke performed a selection of her original songs including the single, Amen, Hallelujah. This single was recently released to Canadian radio, with the accompanying music video having a half a million views on YouTube.

Exclaims 20 year old Moskaluke, “I am thrilled to be presented with this honour. Sharing the stage with such awesome talents, and celebrating the CCMA’s has been a dream come true. Wining this title is staggering; I am thrilled and humbled to have received such an award.”

Moskaluke shared the stage with 7 other Canadian artists, representing the great talent on today’s Canadian music scene. All competing artists were selected through a submission basis, selected by a jury comprised of national music industry professionals, through a three-phase process. Throughout the evening, the artists were judged by an anonymous panel of jurors.
